Description

The Lee County Conservation Board (LCCB), an equal opportunity employer, is seeking a strong, visionary leader with the ability to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously and who also possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The LCCB manages park and wildlife areas. The Director will be responsible for developing, directing, and facilitating the administration, operations/maintenance, recreation services, environmental education, capital development, and habitat management of these areas.

The Director is accountable for developing the LCCB’s strategic plan, preparing and managing the budget, implementing the LCCB’s policies, supervising staff, and interacting effectively with a wide variety of local and regional officials, advisory board members, and the general public. Other natural resource programming may be assigned at the LCCB’s discretion according to Iowa Code section350.4(6).

Starting annual salary is $73,873.
