Description
Seasonal park maintenance approximately May through
August with the start and end time period somewhat flexible. Regular work week
will be forty hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM with some flexibility
for special events and weekend work rotation. That rotation expected to be
every third weekend both Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8AM to noon. Aides
will assist the Operations Supervisor and Conservation Technician/Naturalist
with all aspects of park management. Responsibilities include, but are not
limited to routine area and facility maintenance.
Qualifications
Would prefer someone working towards a degree or pursuing a career in a natural resource field: parks and recreation, biology, fish and wildlife management, etc. Must be able to operate mowers, chain saws, and a variety of related park equipment.
