Naturalist Intern/ Nature Center Host

This is a part time, seasonal position under the general supervision of the Naturalist. The intern will assist and prepare environmental education programs and help with office related duties.  Other duties include summer nature camps, some maintenance, exhibit work, and clerical work. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends. Position can start as early as May and end in August, start and end dates are flexible. 

Essential Functions of the Job: 
Assist with the development, organization, and presentation of environmental education programs for the general public, civic and conservation groups, youth groups and schools in Jefferson County. Plan, assist, and lead activities for summer day camps for youth. Care and maintenance of materials and equipment used for programs. Perform other duties as directed by the naturalist or executive director.
