Big Sioux Rec Entrance Has Been Moved

Entrance has been moved as of this afternoon. New entrance located off of W. 10th ST.
The maintenance staff has been busy the past few weeks, creating a road to follow, putting up a fence, construction of a registration center, and moving of the entrance at the Big Sioux Recreation Area. Today (Friday May 17, 2013) the entrance has officially been moved. The current south entrance has been gated off and locked, access will no longer be granted from this side of the park. The new entrance is located on W. 10th St on the North side of the park. The registration center is still being constructed and will be open soon. There will be a self registration booth available to continue purchasing your entrance passes.
Camping remains closed at this area. We will post when camping is available.
