Fox Township Wildlife Area

Fox Township is 58 acres of varied ecosystem types. Contained within the park is a well established wetland which provides excellent habitat for waterfowl. In addition the park has forest and some small prairie pockets. The park offers a variety of hunting habitats which should provide the necessary resources to sustain populations of white tailed deer, pheasants, and waterfowl.

The pockets of prairie within the park provide habitat for songbirds as well as upland game species. Hikers passing through during late spring and summer may find coneflowers and other species of prairie plants growing throughout the park.

Park boundaries may not be clearly marked in all locations within the park so please be aware of park boundaries and respect private property.
