Sign up for individual days or you can sign up for the entire week to receive a discount! If you are interested in signing up for the entire week, please call or stop by the Nature Center to process your child's registration. At this time, we are unable to do this online. The cost for per day is $40/child. The cost for the entire week is $175/child. If your child has a key card, please call the Nature Center for details. This camp is for kids ages 10-14.

Moooonday!

Kids will take a trip to New Day Dairy in Clarksville, Iowa. New Day Dairy is a 5th generation dairy farm. They have led the way with the implementation of technology into the every day life of agriculture in Iowa. Kids will get to see how Rita the Robot helps Dan and Lynn Bolin monitor and milk their cows. Kids will get to see a working dairy farm and pet calves!

We we then head north to the Iowa Dairy Center in Calmar, Iowa. Kids will learn about the history of dairy farming in Iowa, tour a working free stall dairy farm, experience maternity and calving barns, and tour the robotic milking parlor!

Our last stop of the day will be at Country View Dairy in Hawkeye, Iowa. Does "Country View Dairy" sound familiar? They make and sell their own yogurt, frozen yogurt, and greek yogurt in our local grocery stores! Kids will tour their working farm and get to see where and how yogurt is made. They get to experience the entire process from farm to our grocery stores!
