Learn about the creatures that crawl, squirm, slither, and/or hide in the dark! We will spend a lot of time exploring looking for these creepy, crawly critters, as well as doing experiments and making crafts.

Jun 9 Thursday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM What's in the Water? Camp - Ages 7-12
We will spend all day exploring the water in ponds, lakes, and rivers, as well as doing experiments and making crafts. Plan to dress to get a little wet and muddy! We will NOT be swimming but will most likely get a little wet.

From bees to birds to bats, there are all sorts of pollinators that help provide the food we eat. Learn about these animals by doing experiments, making crafts, and there will even be a special guest!

Just like the name says, we will be making lots of Nature Crafts during this camp! Most of the crafts will focus on using recycled items and items found in nature.

This camp will focus on the animals that are covered in feathers and fur: birds and mammals! We will go on many hikes, learn how to identify different birds/mammals, and make some crafts.

Jul 20 Wednesday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Prairie Pioneers - Ages 7-12
Learn about how pioneers moved through the prairies and the plants/animals they saw. We will also make lots of crafts and food like they did in the 1800s. No technology for this camp!

Aug 3 Wednesday 5:00 PM Overnight Adventure Camp - Ages 9-12
Spend the night at Slip Bluff and explore the park AFTER DARK! We will learn how to build a fire and cook our supper over the campfire, go on a night hike, look at the stars through our telescope, and camp overnight in tents!
