4th Pumping Plant Recreation Area


The 4th Pumping Plant Recreation Area north of Burlington is a popular destination for picnickers, RVers, tent campers, and boaters. The park is located along the Mississippi River and offers a total of 46 camp-sites. Of these campsites, 22 have electricity.

Location

From DMC Highway 99, 17 miles north of Burlington, turn east on Pumping Station Rd. The road ends at the campground, four miles east of the highway. Google Map.

Located along the Mississippi River at the far north end of the county, the 4th Pumping Station Campground offers the following amenities:

  • Firewood available for purchase

Camping Rates:

  • Electric sites: $20 per night
  • Non-electric sites: $10 per night
  • All spots are on a walk up basis

Camping Check-In: After 3 pm on your arrival day
