Tunnel Mill Canoe Access & Wildlife Management Area is 115 acres of rugged woodlands adjacent to the Boone River, owned by the Iowa DNR. Access to the river along with ample area to park vehicles and canoe trailers is provided. This is a nice area to view woodland birds. Public hunting is allowed and deer, wild turkey and squirrel are likely game species.

Hunters are required to use, and can possess, only non-toxic shot while hunting migratory game birds, resident game birds, game animals or furbearers (excluding deer and wild turkey) on all land owned or managed by the Hamilton County Conservation Board.​



Location

Located 6.5 miles south of Webster City at 3050 Tunnel Mill Road. Hamilton County Conservation Board manages the canoe access area only.
