Restored through the Wetland Reserve Program and acquired by the Harrison County Conservation Board with assistance from many conservation partners, this 161-acre area provides seasonal wetland habitat for migrating waterfowl and native prairie habitat for upland game. Hunters are reminded it is illegal to discharge a firearm within 200 yards of an occupied building or feedlot-watch for signs. It is located in the Loess Hills Bird Conservation Area designated by the Iowa DNR.
