Copper Creek Trail

The Copper Creek Trail spans approximately .75 miles from the town of Preston, heading northwest along Copper Creek before connecting to Bear River Recreation Trail, which continues another 6 miles. You'll find a nice picnic spot with a gazebo where the two trails meet. The trail is a combination of crushed limestone and paved surface.

Copper Creek Trail can be accessed from W. Miles St. in Preston or on 45th Street; just east of Spragueville

Scenic overlooks along the trail provide striking views of the river valley and its limestone bluffs. Learn more about the area’s geological history from signs along the trail. Also bring your fishing pole, with access to the streams and river.
