Bring in the following items for recycling:
Common Household Hazardous
Materials Include:
Household Cleaners
Used in the kitchen or bathroom such as: drain cleaners and floor and furniture polishes, etc.
Automotive Products
Gasoline, cleaners and wax, brake fluid, and body putty, etc.
Miscellaneous
Pool Chemicals, photo chemicals, and artist paints, etc.
Home Improvement
Products such as oil-based paint, stains, varnish, and adhesives, etc.
Pesticides
Insect repellants, weed killers, moth balls, mouse poison, and various garden products, etc.
Recycle your old or unwanted markers.
Any brand, any condition. Leave lids on markers.
Markers will be recycled into fuel.
Scrap Metal and Iron, copper, steel, aluminum, brass, wire.
Items not being accepted include: motor oil, oil filters, antifreeze, latex paint, electronics, light bulbs, batteries, tires, medical sharps, large quantities of materials from business or industry, clothing, housewares, general trash and recycling; but are welcome at the Transfer Station at 25146 184th St. Maquoketa
