Iowa's Native Bees

JOHNSON COUNTY EDUCATION PROGRAMS, Johnson County

Sunday, November 4, 2018

Quick, name a bee! Was it a honeybee? A bumblebee? When we think of bees, we forget that thousands of species exist, and 400 of them live in Iowa. In this program, we'll learn more about these cool creatures and how to create backyard habitat for them. Participants will get native wildflower seed to take home and will make artificial habitats for native bees. Registration is required by October 29; to register, email kmorrow@co.johnson.ia.us
