The Leifker Wildlife Area is approximately 96 acres that consists of native prairie.  The Eastern Iowa Conservation Foundation owns the land.  Hunting and fishing is allowed in this wildlife area.  Leifker Wildlife Area

Location

It is located six miles south of Cascade on Hwy 136, right before the Maquoketa River on the right side of the road, and bordered to the West by land.

Features

This wildlife area includes native grasses, buffer strips and shrubs and a pond. The Eastern Iowa Conservation Foundation owns the land and allows hunting and fishing.  Leifker Wildlife Area
