Wanatee Park Campground

UPDATE: October 27, 2020
Campgrounds are closed for the season, except for Wanatee Park. 
at Wanatee Park campground:
      Water is shut-off and the dump stations are also closed.
      Electricity is available.
      These camping areas will remain open as demand and ground conditions allow.
      Campsites are first-come, first-served.

Year round camping is available at Wakipicada Natural Area and Matsell Bridge Natural Area. No water or electricity is available

Matsell Bridge Natural Area Equestrian Campground closes for the season November 15.


Family Camping

Campgrounds are generally open April 15 – October 15.  We may open earlier or continue the season beyond these dates depending on weather and ground conditions. To provide a variety of camping experiences, Linn County Conservation offers campsites that range from primitive sites with no hook ups to modern sites with electricity and water.

Campgrounds are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, which the exception of Squaw Creek Park A-loop, which can be reserved online by clicking facilities at



All campers must self-register and pay the required fee. A dumping station for use by campers. Firewood is available for sale at the campground host site.
