Summer Wapsi Float - EVENT FULL

Join Naturalist Chuck Ungs and others on a scenic float of the Wapsipinicon River. The float is scheduled near the middle of summer to enjoy all the season has to offer us. We are researching just which section we wish to float for this season and will post it on MCP when that is finalized, just to keep you guessing for now! Participants are responsible for bringing their own boats, gear and must wear their mandatory lifejackets. Arrangements can be made to use a very limited quantity of gear by calling 319-892-6485.  Pack plenty of water, sunscreen, a lunch or snacks, and dress for the weather.  Register online by July 16. With the concerns of Covid still looming it can be best to bring 2 vehicles for your group – call the above number for details. Cost: $10/person or $25/family.
