Fishing Fishing at Marion County Park

A 7 Acre fishing lake is located in the center of Marion County Park. A T-Shaped wheel chair accessible fishing pier extends 30 feet from the shoreline into the lake and also a 30 foot rock lined fishing jetty has been constructed to improve opportunities for anglers to be be successful. The lake was renovated in 2015: 80,000 cubic yards of sediment was removed, fish habitat was installed, the lake refilled and fish were restocked. Keeper sized Catfish, Bluegill and Large Mouth Bass should be anticipated by 2018.
