Thanks to all who came to the Prairie Heritage Center this week for the presentation on Nature’s Camouflage. It was great to connect with old friends and meet new people. The guest speakers provided through the Little Sioux Valley Conservation Association, the non-profit organization that supports the Prairie Heritage Center, are an excellent way to reach out to our friends both old and new. We are excited about the potential to bring a variety of topics and presentation styles to our area and we hope that you are having as much fun as we are! In fact, Roy Behrens, our latest speaker, sent a thank you which included a line recognizing the fact that the nature center does make a significant impact in the community, our county, and our state! The Prairie Heritage Center and the O’Brien County Conservation Board have a variety of exciting projects in the works and we’re glad to positively affect the lives of our residents and visitors. Thanks again to all and keep an eye out for our next big event!
