Hawkeye Point


Hawkeye Point,at an elevation of 1670 feet above sea level, is the highest point in the State of Iowa. Hawkeye Point was purchased in 2008 by the Osceola County Board of Supervisors in order to make the area available for permanent public use. Present at the site are historical farming displays, information about Osceola County, and an observation deck. Across the street from Hawkeye Point is the Hawkeye Point Campground.

Located 2 Miles North of the Hwy 9 & Hwy 60 Junction. Turn East onto 130th Street.
