Almer Noyd Wildlife Area


Almer Noyd is 23 acres of wooded upland, including a gravel pit and river floodplain along the North Raccoon River. Bird & wildlife watching are favorite activities in this area.  Hunting for whitetail deer, turkey and waterfowl is of interest. Fishing the river & gravel pit for catfish, bass, carp and  small pan fish such as bluegill, crappie & sunfish is another of the many outdoor recreational opportunities available.
