Fishing at Big Sioux Recreation Area

With 90 acres of surface water located in this park there is plenty of room for shore fishing or take your boat along and fish from it. Fishing regulations are as posted or according to state of Iowa laws. There is also a handicapped fishing pier located on the south edge of the lake.

This area is a popular spot during the winter months for the locals that enjoy ice fishing.

Park open daily 7 am- 10:30 pm.

Fees

Vehicle passes must be purchased upon entering the park, annual passes $20, daily pass $5.
