Participants are invited to slow down and unplug while participating in nature-based invitations. Experience the benefits of being fully present in the forest and explore using all your senses during this gentle 3-hour walk, typically less than one mile. Shinrin-Yoku forest therapy offers research-based health benefits such as stress relief, improved concentration, immune system boost, and improved mental health.

Special instructions for participants: Dress for the weather. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring water. You may want to bring a small backpack. There will be a campfire to warm up at throughout the program.

This program is for adults.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, November 18 at 4:00 p.m.  Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the registration deadline. To cancel a registration, please call (515)232-2516.
