Local rod builder, Garry Land will be on hand to help you build your own custom fishing rod for only $45! You must register at here to be signed up for the workshop!
Rods to choose from...First Come, First Serve... All rods are 6.5 -7 ft in length. Choose weight h/hm , m , ml , ul
Hurry! Space is limited to 12 participants. Spread the word, it is fun when you know the people around you! Do not let the 5 o'clock start time scare you. If you can't make it till 6, just let us know when you register and we can accommodate you.
The rod will take approximately 3 hours to complete depending on fine motor skills. Depending on individuals, a desk or head lamp may be useful and/or magnifying glasses. Also, a bit of a longer thumbnail to push threads together can be helpful.
Children are welcome but if they are under 12 you may want to co-build as their attention span and patience will be tested.
Rods will have to be picked up at a later date due to the epoxy needing to cure overnight on the "spinners".
Bring your own food and beverages as the camp store will be closed
To be refunded, there will be a $10 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds with 48 hours of event.
