Cops N' Bobbers Fishing Derby

8:30 am    -   Registration at Briggs Woods Park Small Beach Shelter 

9:00 to 11:00 am  -  Fishing

• This family event is free to the public.
• IA residents do not need a fishing license as Cop's N' Bobbers Fishing Derby is held during DNR FREE fishing weekend June 7, 8, 9, 2024
• All ages can fish since it is free fishing weekend, but prizes are only for ages 3 to 15.
• Each participant will go home with a prize.
• Feel free to bring your own fishing pole and tackle as there will be a limited number of fishing poles available to barrow.

Cops N' Bobbers was created to help bring law enforcement agencies together with the community they serve. This is a great opportunity to break down barriers and get to know the your local law enforcement officers. Come learn about fishing pole care/maintenance, fish identification, fish regulations, water safety, and other basic fishing instructions.
