EcoFest is the premier Earth Day event in Eastern Iowa, and it is GOOD GREEN FUN! Two family friendly events kick-off EcoFest this year at NewBo City Market.   At 11 am, Stephanie Arne, current host of Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom will share her adventure in hosting the premiere wildlife program. Following Stephanie, Water Rocks, an interactive musical experience will have you singing, dancing, acting, and learning about the environment around you.   Hop on the bus to top of Mount Trashmore! This free ride will take you to one of the most spectacular view of the city! Various sponsors and vendors will also have a great line up of activities such as fun methods to reduce and reuse, learning where your food comes from, live animal programs and lots of art!  EcoFest helps us connect our personal choices to individual, community and planetary sustainability so bring the family out for some GOOD, GREEN FUN!
