This 9-acre park offers a 2-acre fishing lake with 2 picnic shelters that can be used on a first come first serve basis, or shelter reservations can be made at least one week in advance of the desired date, for a non-refundable fee of $25.00 per day. There are gravel parking lots near the shelter area, allowing for easy public access. There are a total of 6 picnic tables on site, with 2 group grills and 1 pedestal grill. Lake George is a very good birding area due to the close proximity to Indian Creek and the access to both live and dead trees for bird use.
