Christianson-Taylor WMA
Christianson-Taylor is a public hunting area of 310 acres consisting of restored wetlands and uplands, with small pockets of mixed timber. This area was partially purchased with Habitat Stamp funds.
Location
From Northwood take Hwy 105 west to Mallard, turn right and go north to 495th St, turn left and go to 497th St, turn left and go to 500th St, turn left and go 1/2 mile
Features
Wetlands are small restored prairie potholes with walk in access. Uplands consist of restored praire grasses and forbs. Small (less than 1/2 ac) stands of oak timber. A great place to observe/photograph the spring bird migrations.
