O.W.L.S. - Discovering Outdoor Delights: Tramp New Zealand's Tracks

O.W.L.S. programs are designed for "boomers" or older, but anyone is welcome to attend.  These free programs are held the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Story County Conservation Center (56461 180th Street, Ames).  

An optional $7.50 luncheon follows the program at 12 noon.  Registration and payment for lunch are required the Friday prior to each program.  No registration is required to attend the free program.

Discovering Outdoor Delights:Tramp New Zealand’s Tracks presented by Nancy Franz and Judy Levings

Can nature study, four star hotels,Kiwi cuisine, and tramping diverse ecosystems go together? They sure do on New Zealand’s South Island -- you can explore subalpine, rain forest, beach,forest, and other ecosystems in close proximity.

Menu: taco bar and sundae bar.
