Cookout Contest

The Boone County Conservation Board and Foundation would like to invite community members to participate in a cookout competition at Don Williams Recreation Area! The contest can be entered for $10 per category.  Everyone is invited to showcase their favorite chicken, pork, or specialty meat recipes. Half of the contestant buy in will be donated to the Boone County Conservation Foundation.  The other half will go to the winners of each category. Members of the public will have a chance to sample each contestants creations ​(AT NO COST) and pick their favorites. Several family friendly activities will be offered starting at 10 AM and People's Choice Judging will begin at 1 PM. 

Contestants:
Please fill out the registration form and return by September 16th. The registration form can be found on the BCCB event page here.
Please pay with cash, day of the event, to make easier payout at the end of the contest.
Set up will be allowed starting at 6 AM.People's Choice Judging will begin at 1 PM
More information about location and set up will be sent via email the week of the event.

Participants:
Family fun activities like fishing, and bags will be offered starting at 10 AM
