Prairie Rescue Single Mingle

Adults, 18 & over with a love of nature and invited to join us at Hitchcock Nature Center on Saturday, April 21st for our Prairie Rescue Single Mingle. This fantastic event will combine a love of the outdoors & volunteering with a chance to mix and mingle with other like minded single adults. Participants must be 18 years of age & over.
This event begins with an education & active prairie restoration from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. During this time participants will head out in to the field to volunteer their time along the trails at Hitchcock Nature Center. At 4:00 p.m. participants will head back indoors for a social hour to mix, mingle, and network more with your fellow participants. This social hour will feature a reception with food & drink provided by local vendors and Pottawattamie County Conservation.
As a thank you for your volunteer efforts there is no fee to attend this event and participants do not need to purchase a $3.00 daily entrance pass or have a Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation membership. We appreciate your support. Free will donations are always accepted and will be used to support continued programming opportunities in Pottawattamie County.
This event is not pet friendly, please leave your canine friends at home. Service animals are always welcome.
