Adult Summer Camp: July 27th
Hitchcock Nature Center, Pottawattamie County
Friday, July 27, 2018
Adults 18 & over are invited to join us for a unique experience during our first ever Adult Summer Camp! This new program features three sessions at three different Pottawattamie County parks and is designed for maximum fun!
Join us for our third & final session from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. on July 27th at Hitchcock Nature Center in Honey Creek. Explore this amazing park located in the heart of Iowa's Loess Hills. First up will be a lesson on campfire cooking with some tasty treats to sample. Then, when the full moon rises our campers hit the trails for some night hiking by moonlight to see a whole new side of the park.
Each of our three camp sessions is designed for adult learners to introduce them to new concepts and outdoor skills. Cost is $30.00 per person per camp session. Register for all three sessions or only the ones that interest you. Space is very limited and online pre-registration is required for attendance. This programming series is being presented as part of our adult education programming. Attendees must be 18 years and over to attend.
