Campgrounds are open for the season!

We are happy to announce that the Big Sioux Recreation Area, Oak Grove/Big Sioux Park and Sandy Hollow Recreation Area campgrounds have their water turned on and comfort stations open for this year’s camping season! Bruce Schomaker Recreation Area will open May 15, 2018.
We are looking forward to another busy season full of camping and many activities. We are anticipating ground breaking of the nature center at Oak Grove late this summer/early fall. We ask that you please keep this in mind as you plan your summer outing to Oak Grove. Deer Run Campground will remain open until the end of the camping season.
New this year we are offering online reservations for a few select campsites. These sites are marked with signage; we ask unless you have made a reservation for these sites that you choose another site that is available. To make your reservation please visit our website at www.siouxcountyparks.org.
