Trail Enhancement and Management (TEAM) Day - River Clean Up CANCELLED

This event has been canceled due to high river levels and unfavorable weather.
Be a part of our TEAM and help make improvements to our county trail systems. This river clean up day will be a collaborative effort with the Outdoor Alliance of Story County. We will float from PETERSON ACCESS to SLEEPY HOLLOW (Please note this is a change in location from Soper's Mill) and pick up trash along the way.
Prior canoe experience is preferred but not required.
Canoes and life jackets will be provided as well as snacks - please bring a lunch if desired and a full water bottle.
Children must be 10 years of age or older to participate in this river clean up.
Registration is required by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 to ensure enough canoes, life jackets, and refreshments for everyone. Please keep in mind that this event may be rescheduled, changed, or cancelled based on the current weather and river conditions. For any outdoor program, SCC recommends wearing a hat and/or sunblock, using bug spray, and dressing for the weather. Our outdoor programs are weather dependent and may be cancelled if conditions are not favorable.
