Kids Fishing Derby

Kids are invited to compete for prizes at our Kids Fishing Derby. Kids do not need a fishing license to participate. Kids will be grouped according to their ages: 5 & under, 6-9, and 10-14 years old. 

Kids Fishing Derbies are going to be held at the fishing pier at the Big Woods Lake Campground and Hickory Hills Park. The derby at Hickory Hills will be next to the kayak launch/Archer's shelter.

*Adults can ASSIST children fishing and not have a license, but if the adult wants to fish from their own pole, they need a valid fishing license.
