Redesigned Seasonal Campsites at Smith Lake

The seasonal campsites on the north side of Smith Lake have been redesigned to be more attractive and user friendly. The two circle sites were replaced by one large camping area with 11 standard back in type sites. Each site has its own electric pedestal, sewer hookup, and water connection located at the back of each gravel camping pad. The pads average 40 feet long and 15 feet wide. Each site also has its own picnic table and fire ring. The four lakeside sites remain the same. The seasonal rate for these sites has increased to $2000. Any sites still available after the application and drawing period will be open for monthly rate rentals ($500/ month) and walk-ins ($20/ night). The renovation is finished and was used extensively during the past camping season. Click the link under "Related Items" for an overhead view of what the new seasonal camping area looks like.The restroom facility in the shelter near this campground has also been renovated to include hot water and a shower.
