O.W.L.S. - The Art of Conservation: A visit with D'ing Darling

O.W.L.S. programs are designed for "boomers" or older, but anyone is welcome to attend.  These free programs are held the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Story County Conservation Center (56461 180th Street, Ames).  

An optional $7.50 luncheon follows the program at 12 noon.  Registration and payment for lunch are required the Friday prior to each program.  No registration is required to attend the free program.

The Art of Conservation: A visit with D'ing Darling presented by Tom Milligan:

This historical presentation brings to life the two time Pulitzer Prize Winning Editorial Cartoonist, creator of the “Duck Stamp” program, and founder of the National Wildlife Federation.

Menu:  Soup (broccoli beer cheese, tomato bisque, and chili) and salad bar (variety of dressings and toppings), homemade bread, and Oreo fluff dessert

Registration for the optional meal is required by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017
