Wild Tots - Animals in Winter

McFarland Park, Story County

Sunday, February 5, 2023

It might be chilly outside, but we can still have an outdoor adventure together! Your tot will learn about how different animals survive the winter by trying out lots of nature activities. This program will include a story, craft, hands-on activities and a short hike. This program is for children 18 months to 4 years and an adult.

*Accessibility: Program activities will take place inside the nature center and/or in a flat outdoor area outside the center. The short hike will take place on paved or mowed trails.

As long as the weather and temperature allow for it, part of the program will be outside. Participants should dress for being both indoors and outdoors. Participants should also bring a snack.

This is a parent-tot program, so all children must be accompanied by an adult for the entire program.

Cost is $5 per tot; Register by February 1st at 4 pm.

Unless otherwise stated, refunds can be issued less a $5.00 processing fee per event for cancellations prior to the registration deadline. No refunds will be made after the registration deadline. To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516.
