Recreation/wildlife area and softball diamonds open to the public
Spring Lake is home to many birds; especially geese who feel protected
during nesting on the unique center island. 27 acres with a natural
spring in the flood plain of the East Nodaway River. Many residents hunt
for mushrooms in the wooded area.
The park has two softball fields that were funded by the Adams County
Softball Association in the early 80's. The City of Corning has managed
this area since 1995. To reserve the softball fields call the Corning
City Clerk office at 641-322-4230 Mon- Fri
