The Wapsi River Environmental Education Center is seeking motivated, outgoing individuals to serve as temporary AmeriCorps 4-H Environmental Education Members. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in educating about the importance of Iowa’s native resources and conservation practices.

Under supervision of the Unit Supervisor, Manager or their designee, assists full-time staff in the seasonal maintenance of county conservation board lands, facilities and equipment. Performs a variety of semi-skilled construction trades, maintenance, and laborer duties within the Conservation department; and performs related work as required.

This position is assigned to the Construction and Maintenance unit, shop is located at Jester Park in Granger, Iowa.
