Defined by the Cedar River, Mitchell County Conservation is located in north central Iowa along the Minnesota border. We are home to the western-most trout streams in Iowa, beautiful river bluffs, and rich woodlands, wetlands, and prairie. Additionally, the Mitchell CCB manages 6 parks, along with 39 other natural areas, historic sites, river access points and wetlands encompassing some 3,038+ acres across the county.
