Naturalist Lunch Box is back for summer 2021! Naturalist Lunch Box is held at 12:00 PM on selected Fridays in the summer at South Cove Park. Pack a lunch and join the fun! Naturalist Lunch Box is designed for all ages. The naturalist will present a short program on a selected topic and have hands on activities for younger audience members.
Friday, July 9th at 12:00 PM will be the fourth Naturalist Lunchbox program of the year. The topic for this week is fireflies. Naturalist Katie will discuss the different species of fireflies in Iowa and bring along a few of the amazing little creatures too. South Cove Park is located along the south shore of Storm Lake at 125 Stoney Point Road, Storm Lake. If you plan on attending, please let Katie know by Wednesday, July 7th by calling 712-295-7985. This program can be cancelled due to lack of participants.

∙ Social distancing is encouraged. You are welcome to bring your own mask and wear it.
∙ Participants will be required to use hand sanitizer before and after touching any objects provided by the CCCB.
