The Heery Woods Campground in located at 19195 Highway 188 in Clarksville, Iowa

Amenities

The campground at Heery Woods State Park features 19 electrical sites, 11 with 50 amp service and 8 with 30 amp service. 

Water for filling reserve tanks is available on site, but no permanent hook-ups are available. 

A dump station is available nearby in the town of Clarksville. 

Flush toilets and a shower house are located near the camping areas.

Fees

All campsites at Heery Woods Campground are $15 per night or $90 per week

Wednesdays are free camping except when they fall on a holiday.

Hours of Operation & Seasons

Butler County Conservation Board camping areas are typically open from April 1 through October 31 depending on weather conditions

Closures

Butler County Parks are closed to through traffic from 10:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. daily.

Permits

Campers must register within one hour after arrival.

Persons bringing kegged alcoholic beverages into Butler County Parks must first obtain a permit from the Butler County Conservation Board and pay a damage deposit.
