Barn Rental Contract Agreement (Please read prior to making any reservations.)

By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 21 years or older.

WEDDINGS AND WEDDING RELATED EVENTS REQUIRE A 2 DAY MINIMUM 

You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities.

Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation, and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information.

Renter will mail in the $100 deposit (cash or check- NO Money Order) within 14 days of reserving a facility. If you wish to pay via Credit Card, the Cherokee County Conservation will email you an invoice where you can pay over Square; THERE IS A NON-REFUNDABLE 3.6% CREDIT CARD FEE. Your deposit will be returned pending facility inspection.

You are reserving a facility in a Cherokee County Conservation Board park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the office if you have any questions about park rules, policies or special requests.

Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Cherokee County Conservation Board may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.

• WHEN YOU ARRIVE- The barn will be clean, have electricity on, and open for your use at the time and date you specify. At any other times and dates, the barn is public use without electricity available.


• WHEN YOU DEPART- The electricity will shut off automatically at 10:30 PM, which is the campground's quiet hours. 


• DECORATIONS- You may decorate the barn, but please hang with tape, thumb tacks, or push pins. Staples, nails, screws, and the like are not allowed. 


• KEGS- If you plan to serve keg beer at your event, please click this link to fill out a Google Form: Keg Permit Application It will be an additional $15.


• GENERAL INFORMATION- Violation of any state law or county regulation by any member of the rental party is cause for revocation of the rental privilege and the entire party may be required to leave the area.


• CLEAN-UP- You are required to clean-up the facility and grounds and return them to the condition you received them. Please put trash in the cans provided and take trash to dumpsters. Failure to clean up after yourself/guests will result in forfeit of your deposit.


• SMOKING-  Smoking is prohibited in all buildings.

Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action and/or loss of deposit. Cherokee County Conservation may take any legal actions necessary to recover damages to county property. 

Cherokee County Conservation has the following cancellation policy:

If you cancel over 14 days in advance, you will be refunded 75% of the rental cost.

If you cancel within 14 days, you will not be refunded.

CCCB allows one reschedule within the next 365 days without penalty. Please call 712-225-6709 to reschedule.

If a reservation is canceled by Cherokee County Conservation Board due to the following:

• We are unable to provide your facility (or a similar facility) in operable condition for the dates reserved


• Accident or serious death/injury of an immediate family member


• Travel conditions where a substantial risk is required in order to travel- such as a winter storm where a travel warning has been issued
