Snowshoe Hike

Kuehn Conservation Area, Dallas County

Saturday, February 16, 2013

Snowshoeing has been around for thousands of years and is a great way to explore the snowy outdoors. The best way to learn to snowshoe is to just get out and do it. Participants will be given a few pointers to get them started and then set free to explore Kuehn’s prairies and woodlands. You may bring your own snowshoes or borrow them from us. Participants must be between 65-250 pounds if borrowing snowshoes from us. Be prepared to give us your weight when you register, so we can fit your snowshoes properly. This program is weather-dependant. Registration is required for this program. Space is limited.
