Adult Conservation Oriented Responsible Neighbors 

ACORN is an adult program for those interested in conservation and environmental education topics. There are no membership fees and no commitments. Feel free to attend the programs that suit your interests. Guest speakers, and craft-making are some of the activities planned for this group.

Registration is NOT required for any ACORN activity. The programs will be held regardless.

 *Reminder postcards and/or postcards will be sent each month for those that are interested in the A.C.O.R.N program. All dates are subject to change. Final ​details are announced when postcards are sent. You can also listen to Cari Nicely, Naturalist, or Danika Cox, Assistant Naturalist on KILJ radio on the first Thursday of the month for updates for all programs.

Note: All programs are held in the EE classroom of the Oakland Mills Nature Center.
