The Hurstville Interpretive Center has a large multipurpose community room that is available for reservation for groups. The room may be used by conservation groups, youth groups, civic groups, education agencies, social gatherings (weddings, family reunions, showers, anniversaries), etc...

The multipurpose room is located in the lower level of the Hurstville Interpretive Center.

Located 1 mile north of Maquoketa on the corner of US Highway 61 and 63rd Street.

Located in the lower level of the Hurstville Interpretive Center, the community room boasts a full kitchen, seating and dishes for up to 75 people.

Fees

During regular business hours:
Community room + full kitchen: $100.00

In addition, $100 refundable deposit.

Payment must be cash or check.

After regular business hours:
Above pricing PLUS $25.00 per hour - call for availability

Hours of Operation & Seasons

Weekdays 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Weekends:
    December - March CLOSED
    April - October 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    November 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

All set up and clean up time must be included within these hours. 

Closures

The Hurstville Interpretive Center is closed New Year's day, Easter, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving - Sunday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's eve. The Center is closed weekends December - March. 

Permits

Admittance of alcohol must be approved by the board. Please send a completed copy of the Special Use Permit (see below) to the Hurstville Interpretive Center at least one month in advance of room rental.
