The Stone City Access is a one acre access on the Wapsipinicon River in Stone City. Canoeists can enjoy the solitude and beauty of the limestone bluffs, cliffs and wooded shorelines.
Locations
The access is east of "The General Store" in Stone City and on the short gravel road leading South to the Wapsipinicon River.
Features
The access is made from Stone City limestone and is easy for trailers and boats to launch. Visitors can enjoy the view of the historic area of Stone City while floating the Wapsipinicon River. The parking lot provides several spaces for parking but can be very busy on the weekends in the summer.
