We are excited to announce that we no longer have any closures of any of our main county park areas! You read that right all of our swimming beaches and campground are open and ready for visitors! The swimming beach at the Big Sioux Recreation Area may be a little sticky and muddy yet but it is open.
Some areas of the parks do remain closed to vehicle traffic until repairs are completed. Please respect the barricades and road closed signs.
Some of our outlying areas that we manage may still have some damages that we are working on so bare that in mind while visiting other wildlife areas.
So break out the camper and sunscreen, and head on out to enjoy the end of summer! Reminder vehicle passes do pertain to both Big Sioux Recreation Area and Sandy Hollow Recreation Area upon entering the parks.
