Do you want to be an insect? What would your gigantic world be like? Where would you live, hide, eat, lay eggs? Lets explore the trails at Oak Grove Park with entomologist and Dordt professor, Jeremy Hummel, on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 2:30pm. We will be armed with insect nets and Ziploc bags for a catch and release hike. We will meet at the Bluegill Bungalow and Foxes Den Cabin public parking area in the Deer Run Campground. Cabins are located on bottom loop of the campgrounds roadway system.

This insect adventure is for the whole family, please note the trail is not stroller friendly. It is recommend you apply bug spray and sunscreen prior to arrival, and bring a water bottle along. Event is cancelled if raining.
