Zombie Camp

Campers research, monitor, and develop a cure for the zombie outbreak at McFarland Park! During your training, you will learn the importance of teamwork and gain valuable survival skills such as navigating and tracking, first aid, fire building, medicinal plants, and more. Help save lives and restore McFarland Park to a zombie-free zone for all to enjoy. Camp involves real zombies! This camp is fun, not scary!
This camp is for youth completing 4th or 5th grade in the spring of 2018.
Camp begins Tuesday, July 10 at 9:00 a.m. and end at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11.
Registration begins on Saturday, April 21 at 8:00 a.m. Adding your child to the waiting list prior to April 21 will not hold a place for them. Please wait until April 21 when online registration opens.
IMPORTANT:
If you have any dietary or medical concerns, please list those on the last step of the check-out process in the "Special Needs/Accommodations/Comments" box.
Mandatory health forms will be sent via email to those registered along with camp details. Health forms must be returned to SCC at least one week prior to camp in order for your child to participate.
To cancel a registration, please call (515) 232-2516. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received at least five business days prior to the camp.
Nature camp t-shirts are available on a pre-paid basis only; we will not be ordering extras. To order your t-shirt, please look for the event titles "Nature Camp T-Shirts 2018" (available to order now), or click "Continue Shopping" to add it to your cart after registering for camp.
